About

Is the journey to parenthood not what you expected? Becoming a parent can be overwhelming, exhausting and leave you feeling anxious, depressed, isolated and even disconnected from your partner. When the rest of the world expects you to be basking in the glow of new motherhood and reminds you to cherish every moment it can be especially hard to admit that you’re having a difficult time staying afloat. You are not alone. Twenty percent of new moms experience significant mood disturbance and 67% of couples report a significant decrease is martial satisfaction after the birth of a child. I can help! As a specialist in maternal mental health I support those struggling with infertility, pregnancy, postpartum anxiety, depression and OCD, miscarriage and pregnancy loss, and the marital distress these can cause. I utilize research supported therapeutic techniques to get you back to feeling like yourself. I have specialized training in maternal mental heath and pregnancy loss thru Postpartum Support International and the Seleni Institute. I am also a certified Gottman Bringing Baby Home Educator. My work is enriched by my personal experience with postpartum anxiety and as a mother of two.
