I am devoted to helping survivors of trauma and life crisis thrive through nurturing safety, agency, and relational healing. I have over 12 years of clinical experience working with crisis, trauma, anxiety, depression, adjustment, and many other issues that affect emotional and relational wellbeing in both outpatient and inpatient settings. I have also taught in CACREP-accredited counseling graduate programs for over 5 years and am a licensed clinical supervisor in North Carolina. I am trained in Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) by an EMDRIA-Certified trainer. I am also trained in perinatal mental health by Postpartum Support International (PSI) and in perinatal bereavement by Still Birth Day. I work primarily from an attachment-based, developmental framework that includes depth-oriented therapy, somatic and mindfulness work, and trauma-informed techniques including EMDR. I have also led therapy groups for survivors of pregnancy and infant loss in the Greensboro, NC area and am a survivor of pregnancy loss and postpartum anxiety disorder.
