Dr Tanya Cotler, PhD, CPsych


With well over a decade of experience in CBT, DBT, Mindfulness-based practices and Psychodynamic Orientated Psychotherapy, Dr. Cotler is committed to helping women, men and families cultivate the necessary tools to sustain thriving and fulfilling lives. Dr. Cotler works with women and men trying to conceive, once expecting, through prenatal and postpartum adjustments, postpartum mental health issues, and relationship challenges after birth. A strong focus of Dr. Cotler’s practice is also on pregnancy loss and miscarriage as well as infant loss. In addition to individual and family therapy, Dr. Cotler offers Mindful Parenting workshops throughout various locations in Toronto as well as Mother2Woman/Woman2Mother groups for new mothers. M2W_W2M groups focus on the transition to motherhood and the many postpartum changes that occur both psychologically and physically for women.
