Elizabeth McGee, LCSW

You thought becoming a mom was going to be an amazing and joyful time, and you couldn't wait to bring home your new baby... So, why are you feeling so weird!? Maybe you find yourself crying more often; or feeling overwhelmed and unprepared despite having read all the "right" books and making a plan. Maybe you are worrying so much about all the things that you’re not able to enjoy your new family. If you're sleeping, it's certainly not enough, and irritability and your "foggy" brain seem to be the new normal. I bet it would feel good to feel good again - to feel like yourself. One thing I know: You are not alone. In the last ten years, I've spent a lot of time with new moms who are struggling or hurting. From the baby blues, to postpartum depression, anxiety, and other maternal mental health issues, I've been honored to be with moms and dads through every step; and to guide them back to wellness and joy in their families.
