Navigating life challenges or transitions — from pregnancy and parenthood to marriage and retirement — can feel isolating and overwhelming. I’m passionate about supporting you on this journey, providing empathy, expertise, and understanding in a warm, non-judgemental way. You can expect me to take the time to get to know you and to understand the difficulties you face. We’ll work together to develop a plan that works for you. We’ll set goals and choose evidence-based tools that meet your specific needs and interests. Together, we can take steps to lessen your feelings of distress and increase your sense of well-being. I use a wide range of tools to help, from problem-solving techniques to expressive arts therapy. I developed these skills in diverse clinical settings, including at a children’s hospital, in the labor and delivery unit of a community hospital, and at an outpatient HIV clinic.
