About

Navigating life challenges or transitions — from pregnancy and parenthood to marriage and retirement — can feel isolating and overwhelming. Instead of feeling happy, joyful, and energized, you feel exhausted, alone, and unlike yourself. You want to feel happier, healthier, and more present, but you don’t know how. I’m passionate about supporting you on this journey, providing empathy, expertise, and understanding in a warm, non-judgemental way. You can expect me to take the time to get to know you and to understand the difficulties you face. We’ll work together to develop a plan that works for you. We’ll set goals and choose evidence-based tools that meet your specific needs and interests. Together, we can take steps to lessen your feelings of distress and increase your sense of well-being. I use a wide range of tools to help, from problem-solving techniques to expressive arts therapy. I developed these skills in diverse clinical settings, including at a children’s hospital, in the labor and delivery unit of a community hospital, and at an outpatient HIV clinic. I pull from all of these experiences to help you feel better. Please know, you’re not alone. You can experience hope again. We’ll work through it together, one step at a time.
