Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I received my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Loyola University in 1999 and my Master of Science in Nursing from Rush University in 2006. I have extensive subspecialty training and experience in perinatal psychiatry. My perinatal psychiatry work began at the University of Illinois Women’s Mental Health Program in 2004, then continued at Brigham and Women’s Hospital at Harvard University Medical School, the Women and Infants’ Hospital Day Program at Brown University Medical School and currently with Meridian Psychiatric Providers located in Chicago, Evanston and Lake Forest, Illinois. I perform initial psychiatric evaluations, psychopharmacologic management, and individual psychotherapy. My interests include preconception counseling; mood and anxiety disorders during pregnancy and the postpartum period; transition to motherhood, including mother-infant attachment; and psychiatric symptoms associated with the menstrual cycle, perimenopause and menopause.
